Lauren Bok is an award-winning comedian from Melbourne with over 8 years experience in performance, radio and TV. She does mimes, burlesque, stand up and silly voices.
Along the way she's enjoyed multiple sold-out shows, rave reviews, best-newcomer lists (Pedestrian.tv and Broadsheet) was nominated for the Golden Gibbo at MICF 2019 and won Best Emerging Artist at Adelaide Fringe 2016, as well as writing for SBS Comedy and The Age.

El Boydell is an arts manager and creative producer with a passion for interdisciplinary live and performance art driven by an engaged audience. She has produced work with Wit Incorporated, Women’s Circus, Emerging Writers’ Festival, Boutique Theatre, Memetica and more, alongside work in the creative industries, higher education and family violence sectors. She’s great at organising teams and loves bringing creative visions to life. El is a training and performance member with Women’s Circus, specialising in partner acro, and since 2020 has also been a member of the Board.
El joined Wit Incorporated in 2019.

Laura Buskes
Laura Buskes is Assistant Artistic Director of The Improv Conspiracy Theatre. She joined the company in 2013 and has been teaching and performing regularly for the last six years. Before she joined the theatre she was an avid stage performer who studied music theatre, clowning, dramatic arts and dance. An all-round theatre geek who loves sharing her passion with others, she could chew your ear off with her fascination with comedy.
Gregory Caine
Gregory has been acting for over 20 years. In theatre, Greg recently starred in Overlook Production 2024 run of I See You. Other roles include the long running anti-suicide play Marooned at Melbourne’s famous Southbank Theatre The Lawler, as well as Bitten By Productions Hunters, Dead Air, The Commune, Dracula: Last Voyage of The Demeter, Lucas Conundrum and The Last Supper. In Film and TV Greg is probably best known for his regular role on Utopia ABC/Working Dog Productions. Greg has upcoming roles in Apple Cider Vinegar (Netflix), Newsreader S3 (ABC) and the Guy Pearce feature film Inside. Previous roles include Neighbours (Ch10/Prime Video), Crazy Fun Park (ABC), Newton’s Law (ABC), The Wrong Girl (Ch10), 7 Types of Ambiguity (ABC), and Jack Irish (ABC), as well as multi-award winning UK feature film Marriage, Fiction Film Company’s award winning short film Safe Space, Bitten By Production’s web series The Pact and short film The Retirement Plan, which has just made official selection at Port Shorts Film Festival 2024.
Kate Cameron
Kate is emerging theatre-make and producer and holds a Bachelor of Performance (Performance-Making) from the University of Wollongong. Since graduating she has taken part in ATYP’s Fresh Ink playwriting mentorship (2018) and NIDA’s Directing Actors for the Stage (2017). She has produced a number of original works by emerging artists in Melbourne and Sydney and has seen successful runs at Melbourne and Sydney Fringes, and presented at La Mama Theatre, The Butterfly Club, The Blood Moon Theatre, and Siteworks. Her recent credits include Producer of Foreign Woman (The Butterfly Club, Blood Moon Theatre, 2018), Producer and Assistant Director of Love Bird (La Mama, 2018), Director of The Last Five Years (2017), Trinculo in The Tempest (2017), Assistant Director of Spring Awakening (2016), Assistant Director of A Little Night Music (2016), and Jill in Equus. Her film credits include Fragmentary (We’re the Weirdos Productions, 2019), and Too Pretty to be Witty (Fresh Blood, 2017). For 2019 Kate has produced and directed Bedtime Stories for Girls at The Butterfly Club’s inaugural one-act play festival and is currently undertaking VIMH’s inaugural mentorship program under Liv Satchell.
Belinda Campbell
Trained at NASDA in New Zealand, Belinda is as an actor, writer, director and children’s drama teacher based in Melbourne.
Known for her immensely hard work and excellent comic timing, Belinda’s recent acting highlights include: the hilarious Meryl, Mary and Winsome monologues in Bombshells, Ginny in the epic prison play Outside In, evil villain The Waster in A Hero’s Guide to Saving the Planet and Macbeth in a gender-flipped production if the same name.
Co-founder and Artistic Director of Wit Incorporated theatre company, she also runs their children’s drama program, Wit Kids, bringing affordable after school drama to primary aged children.
Belinda’s directing credits include How I Met My Dead Husband, Westerly, Ophelia Thinks Harder, A Scandal in the Weimar and Couch Potato.
She’s written a number of plays, five of which have been staged. Fairy Tale News and A Hero’s Guide to Saving the Planet are published by Australian plays, and I Am A Monster was shortlisted for NZ Playmarket’s 2018 Plays for the Young Competition.

Gabby Carbon is an actor, creature performer, voice over artist, model, musician, theatre maker, bodypaint artist, and costume designer, having worked in Australia, New Zealand, and the UK. She holds a bachelor of Fine Arts in Drama from the Queensland University of Technology and has further studied with La Boite, NIDA, ImproMafia, and Queensland Theatre. Some of her most notable works include: Thor: Ragnarok (Marvel Studios), Jurassic Park the Musical (Brisbane Arts Theatre), Noises Off (Brisbane Arts Theatre), and The Young King (QPAC).
Gabby has designed for stage, screen, photo shoots, and immersive theatre works. Her design credits include: SPECTRUM (Anywhere Theatre Festival, 2018/19), Petrichor (QUT, 2018), Richard 3 (QUT/QTC, 2019), Henry 4 (Queensland Shakespeare Ensemble, 2019), The Tragedy of Socrates (Queensland Shakespeare Ensemble, 2019), The Art of Loathing (Third Eye Productions, 2019), INSOMNIUM (QUT, 2019), and Silver Lining Awards (AIPP, 2020).

Gemma Carfi
Gemma is an actor, writer and director. Since graduating the full-time course at Howard Fine Acting Studio in 2017, Gemma has turned her attention towards completing a Bachelor of Film and Television at Swinburne University of Technology. Two years into the four-year course, she has written and directed four films, one of which will be making the rounds on the 2020 festival circuit with another currently entered into the Unscene Film Festival.
She is also co-founder of JuiceBox Films, a film company dedicated to showcasing local Australian content and supporting up and coming filmmakers and actors.

Michael Chan
I’m Michael Chan, 38 years old and living in Geelong. In 2016 I joined Back-to-Back Theatre through Writing & Acting for Film & TV Project as an Artist in Residence and then made my theatrical debut in the GSODA’s production of Chess: The Musical in 2016. In June 2019 I was appointed as a guest artist with the Ensemble to act as an understudy before landed a leading role for the work The Shadow Whose Prey the Hunter Becomes. I've been recognised through ABC’s TV ‘The Mix’ where interviewed about the show and my Member Profile appeared on the Arts Access Australia (AAA) website whilst applied for Travel Grant to attend 2019 Meeting Place held in Canberra. Last year I undertook an My Story project through the City of Greater Geelong. With exemplary achievements for all success in the field of area and/or interest I've been an recipient of the 2020 Geelong Awards for People with a Disability, under the Achievement category. Early this year I performed La Mama’s production of Breeders, where I played multiple roles within the ensemble such as shadow ministers and doctors who cared for a mother who give birth to a child who diagnosed with autism. Recently, my writing piece has appeared on the Writing Place '21 magazine as part of the Arts Access Australia's Meeting Place 2021 conference.
Emma Choy
Laura Collins
Using performance writing, Laura Collins (she/her) explores the way we interact with the natural world and each other. Currently, her work is focussed on the climate crisis, the reality of living with chronic pain, and eco-feminism. Her creations are whimsical, poetic, and absurd, but firmly grounded in contemporary issues.
Collins’ playscripts include: The Cave of Spleen (Theatre Works, 2023), A Dog Called Monkey (Northcote Town Hall, 2017), and Kick-Ons (Ormond College, 2016). She has also contributed monologues and/or performance text to Alternative Futures (Theatre Works, 2021), Stargazers (Online, 2020) and FREEFALL (The Burrow, 2018). Collins’ experimental and immersive installation Plastisphere was presented at Grant St Theatre (2019), Melbourne Fringe (2019), Zero Waste Festival (2019) and Adelaide Fringe (2020) where it received the BankSA award for Visual Art and Design.
Collins is an alumna of Theatre Works’ She Writes Collective (2020-2021), Hospitalfield’s Interdisciplinary Residency Programme in Arbroath, Scotland (2022), and the Masters of Writing for Performance at VCA (2018).
Simone Cremona
A bubble of passion for everything music and musical, Simone is an inspiration for every young budding artist. Born in Malta, a tiny island in the heart of the Mediterranean, Simone moved to Australia at the age of 21. With her she brought a love for the arts and above all her dreams. Simone has combined her talents, passion and dedication to set up a community organisation called musicworx, aimed at bringing people together to develop and share creativity and talent in the music realm while producing amateur musical productions in Melbourne’s North Western region. She has performed, directed and produced a number of musical productions and has also been involved as assistant director in a short film.
Tara Daniel
Tara is a performer, director and arts educator, who trained at WAAPA and the VCA. Their most recent directorial projects were Unsorted as part of Theatre Works’ inaugural Children’s Theatre Festival, 2022 and an adaptation of Kafka’s The Trial at Chapel off Chapel in 2024. Tare has a strong background in education and arts for young people and has taught in secondary schools across Victoria. They have also managed arts programs and published resources for NIDA Melbourne, PICA, Theatre Works, Heide MOMA and the ArtsCentre Melbourne. Currently, Tara leads the specialist Theatre Arts program at the Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School.

Fiona is a multidisciplinary entertainment performer and professional having worked and performed within the industry most of her adult life with various productions, events, festivals and venues. She continues this work with various venues, projects and performance groups and training. She is an active performer mostly through improvised comedy and dance and works at many wonderful entertainment spaces. She is passionate and dedicated to the arts and entertainment and is excited to bring her wealth of knowledge and experience to this wonderful independent production.
Jack Dixon-Gunn
Jack is an actor and photographer from Melbourne. He initially trained as a performer but after hitting the road for several months doing Shakespeare with car-full of stinky actors, he decided to pick up a camera and have a crack at photography. Little did he know he'd become obsessed and now it’s his full time job (in between other theatrical antics he gets up to).
Jack likes people who are brave, nice and tell the truth and he tries to do the same. He’s a big fan of Jeff Buckley and and a band called The Dip who you should definitely check out (www.youtube.com/watch?v=gVp9ia0rui8).

Emma is a British actor and director trained at Central School of Speech and Drama. She has been living “down under” since 2018. Sam Eade
Sam Eade is a male actor based in NAARM/Melbourne and a Victorian College of the Arts Graduate (2023). He has a large background in sport, particularly in gymnastics which he didthroughout his childhood. Outside of playing sport, once graduating high school Sam went on to study at the VCA and his credits include Romeo and various roles in Palace of Illusions (dir. Sonya Suares), Rob in New Labour (dir. Alice Qin), Theo in Roulette (dir. Tony Nikolakopoulas), Hugh in All Boys (dir. Max Tassell) and Miles in She Kills Monsters (dir. Joe Paradise Lui). Since graduating Sam has performed at the Motley Bauhaus in Perpetual Stew (dir. Milly Walker &Charles Lawrence) and at La Mamma in Straight White Male as Ryan (dir. Nick Parsons).

Meg Farrough
Meg is a singer, dancer, and actor with a passion for storytelling through music. They started singing at primary school and performed in school and local settings through their childhood. Their involvement in theatre began backstage at 14 while volunteering with sound and lighting for the Melbourne Gang Show. Meg then made their musical theatre debut in the Gang Show ensemble at 16.
Since then, Meg has been a recurring face at Gang Show, both on- and off-stage and performing in dance showcases and competitions. They recently completed their Vocal Performance Diploma with Con Brio Examinations with a focus on musical theatre repertoire. When not performing, Meg works in legal compliance and enjoys other creative storytelling outlets.
Meg is represented by Ian Nisbet Talent Management and Dear Mama marks their professional theatre debut.
Lansy Feng
Lansy Feng is an actor, writer, story-telling singer, and theatre-maker. She graduated from National Theatre Drama School in 2016 and Howard Fine Acting Studio’s Full Time Program in 2017.
In 2018, she created the one-woman cabaret “How I Met My Dead Husband” and performed it at The Butterfly Club and again at Gasworks Arts Park as part of Melbourne Fringe Festival. The same year she performed in several productions including musicals “On My Way” (Western Arts Theatre) and “Fanciful Imaginings” (Musicworx), theatre production “Ophelia Thinks Harder” (Wit Incorporated) and short film “Origin”. She has worked with Two Door Pictures and Talk EZ for web-ads, and Flying Art Films for music video.
In 2019, she co-produced and performed in “Westerly” at The Butterfly Club.
Lansy has performed across Taiwan as a percussionist with Phonon Music. She also designed and created a mosaic mural for Goodstart Minifie Park Early Learning Centre.
Lansy joined Wit Incorporated as a Company Member and Secretary in 2018, and in 2019 presented a new development of “How I Met My Dead Husband” and took on the role of Production Manager for “That Time Everything Went Well and We Were Totally Fine”. In 2020, Lansy co-created the short video series “Bits of Wit”. Lansy has been Artistic Director of Wit Incorporated since July 2020.

Lauren has been marketing independent (La Mama, Wit Inc) and prestigious (Malthouse) theatre since she graduated from Monash University with a Master’s in Cultural and Creative Industries in 2022. She is a multidisciplinary artist, encompassing writing, photography, and directing. This combines with her marketing skills to deliver a stylistic campaign with data-driven results. Eldon is a full-time public servant, part-time goblin and lapsed actor. In his spare time, he enjoys gaming, visiting wineries, seeing live music and reading sci-fi. After years of doing boring stuff like moving back to Melbourne, completing a Masters and focusing on his career, he is dipping his toe back into the theatre scene. Coming mainly from a background in university musicals and revue comedy shows, he hopes to bring something weird and different to the drama stage. Thank you to Wit Incorporated for offering him the first Asian role/s he's played since Shang in the grade 6 production of Mulan.

Ethan is a Graduate of the Victorian College of the Arts with Bachelor of Fine Arts (Design & Production). Through his passion and expertise for sound, Ethan has created soundscapes and compositions for theatre, dance, film and installations. His credits include sound design for graduate shows 'Theatrum Botanicum' (VCA), 'The Wolves' (VCA), 'Sweet Charity'(VCA) and 'Cloud 9'(VCA). He also worked with Masters of Theatre (Directing) students on 'Ariadne'(VCA) and 'An Unseasonable Fall of Snow'(VCA). As a part of his studies Ethan interned on 'Laurinda' and 'Cyrano' at Melbourne Theatre Company. In addition he has worked as a Sound Technician at Malthouse, MTC and The National Theatre.

Avery is a simple girl in a complicated world. She's also an accomplished independent musician, producer, sound designer, tech, and performer, who has been lending her expertise and outside eye to productions across Melbourne for the last two years. When not behind the AV desk, you can find her at home recording bedroom symphonies, or out and about performing music and stand-up comedy. Despite all her achievements, she is still persistently terrible at writing bios about herself.

James Lau
James is a Chinese-Australian Actor & Creative born in Hong Kong and raised in Melbourne, Australia. James is a Graduate of the Victorian College of the Arts (VCA) and completed a BFA in Acting & Theatre Practice in 2017. He has since appeared on stage and on screen professionally, with TV credits including supporting roles on 'Glitch' (ABC/Netflix) as Wey Yun in 2019 and 'New Gold Mountain' (SBS) as Ah Chua - Opium Seller in 2021. Most recently in 2022 James worked with Wit Inc. on stage and played Sam in ‘Dear Mama..." (Wit Incorporated), followed up by playing the lead character and role of Ken in ‘Ken’s Quest’ (La Mama Theatre).

Kate Hood had a full career as an able-bodied actor, writer and director, which lasted for over twenty years. She performed in everything from classics to musicals, working for major theatres (Melbourne Theatre Company, State Theatre Company Adelaide, Hit Productions) and commercial production companies (Gordon Frost, Everyday Productions). Some of her credits include Pygmalion, Big River, Buddy and Hotel Sorrento. Her film and television credits include Prisoner, Dancing in the Dust, The Flood and Blue Heelers and she was a main promotional voice-over artist for ABC Melbourne. She has directed for Melbourne Fringe, the Brisbane Festival, Opera Plus and Jane O'Toole Productions.
Over a decade ago, she became a wheelchair user, and began a new career as a disabled actor, writer and theatre maker. She worked extensively as a commercial voice-over artist and won awards for her audio book narrations for Bolinda Publications. She began writing and performing her own work, which includes monologue, short story and spoken word. Writers Victoria awarded her a mentorship to work on her play 'Ruthie'.
She now collaborates with disabled and non-disabled artists as director, mentor and dramaturg. She advocates strongly in the mainstream for performers with a disability, sitting on the board of Arts Access Victoria, founding and co-chairing the Performers with Disabilities Committee and sitting on Actors Equity's Diversity Committee as Deputy Chair.
In 2018 she was Keynote Speaker for an international Arts and Disability Conference in Singapore (ADIC). She is a sought-after speaker and panelist, advocating tirelessly to bridge the gap between artists with disability and artists who are non-disabled.
Her most recent acting and directing credits include That's Why the Lady Needs a Ramp, Contest, The Real and Imagined Life of the Elephant Man, Risky Business, Love Child - Raspberry Ripple Reads, Neighbours, and the Words in Winter Festival. She is an Artist in Residence at Footscray Community Arts Centre and continues working as actor, writer and director in the mainstream .
Her theatre company Raspberry Ripple Productions works with disabled and non-disabled performers to make theatre which tells everyday, heroic stories of disabled and non-disabled people living in the world together.
Raspberry Ripple is supported by the Australia Council, Malthouse Theatre, Chapel Off Chapel, Stonnington Council, Darebin Speakeasy, and others and is a Company in Residence at Footscray Community Arts Centre.
Kate is excited at the possibilities opening up in her career as an artist with a disability and creative leader, and feels that her years of experience as an actor, writer, director and advocate with a foot in two worlds - the worlds of Australian Theatre and Disability Arts - will serve her well into the future as Artistic Director of Raspberry Ripple Productions.

Enoch Li
Enoch is a Chinese (Hong Kong) Australian actor based in Sydney. He fell in love with the creative world from a very young age but only began acting after a career in corporate Australia.
Before graduating from drama school, Enoch made his Indie Theatre debut in January 2022 playing the lead in the critically acclaimed A Grain of Sand by Declan Coyle, directed by award winning director Margaret Thanos. He continued to work in indie theatre, playing iconic roles such as “Akela” in Jungle Book at the Riverside Theatre in Parramatta, “Young Zhang Lin” and the “The Guard”, as well as the understudy for “Zhang Wei” in Chimerica and the New Theatre in Sydney, and “The Gardener” in Lady Precious Stream directed by Tiffany Wong where he was able to mix traditional Chinese Opera elements with western theatre conventions. He was most recently in The One where he played multiple versions of the character “men” as part of the 2023 Sydney Fringe Festival. He is also involved with film projects in Sydney, teaming up with up-coming directors on a range of passion projects, as well as working on professional productions for the likes of National Geographic. His first indie feature film is currently in post-production.
Enoch graduated in July of 2022 with an Adv. Diploma in Screen and Media (Acting) from AFTT (now JMC) where he was classically trained in acting. He also holds a Bachelor of Social Work (UNSW) and a Master of Commerce (USYD). He is also an avid dancer and is often found in the studio practicing his hip hop moves or learning the latest K-pop choreography. He is passionate about sharing stories that connects different cultures together. His Instagram handle is @enochli_. Proud member of the MEAA.
Sasha Leong
Sasha Leong is a Malaysian Chinese actor, represented by Who Artists. Sasha has worked on-screen and theatre/live performance for more than nine years. Since moving to Melbourne, she has trained with the faculty at Howard Fine Acting Studios, Katherine Beck, The Rehearsal Room, and The Australian Film and Television Academy (TAFTA).
Sasha worked on independent shorts Match Point (2021), Rocks (2021), Burger with the Lot (2014) and the award-winning, Full Disclosure (2017). She was also an ensemble member in Ghost and The Interview for Snatches 2020. Past productions in Malaysia include Trick or Treat: A Halloween Musical (2014), The Betrayal (shortlisted as a Finalist) in the Short & Sweet Theatre Festival 2012, Kleting Kuning and the Giant Crab (2012) playing both roles of Nyai Rondo and Yuyu Kangkang the Giant Crab, Chow Kit Road: The Musical (2013), ‘Showdown: The Movie’(2016), and infomercial ‘Bisikan Hati’ (2011).
In addition to acting, Sasha is a strong advocate for diverse representation and inclusion in the creative industries. She is excited to work with Wit Incorporated, a theatre company which shares similar values in creating accessible theatre for and by the community. Rebekah Lin
Fengyi Liu
Fengyi (Fini) Liu has a professional theatre background and holds a Master of Arts and Cultural Management from the University of Melbourne. From there, he went on to study Contemporary Theatre at Columbia University in the United States. In 2020, he went to the University of Tasmania where he studied Theatre and Performing Arts, during which time he performed in several community theatres productions which all received very positive outcomes. Reis Low
Reis Low is an emerging arts manager and maker with a background in theatre and dance. They are a member of the Dirty Laundry Collective, and Support Artist to Union House Theatre’s current project, The Switch. Reis' recent management credits include producing/stage managing Union House Theatre’s Explorations (La Mama 2019), co-stage managing La Nonna (Melbourne Fringe 2019), and producing/managing The Good Person Recipe (Melbourne Fringe 2018). In 2019, Reis interned at La Mama, founded University of Melbourne’s physical theatre group Floor Work, facilitated movement workshops at the George Paton Gallery, and won Mudfest's Movement Award for their first solo performance Calibrate. Last year, they created digital work White Shirt Experiments (Union House Theatre and Dirty Laundry Collective), directed physical theatre short film Facet (Floor Work), and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Melbourne.

Berlin recently played Kim Wu on the Disney+ show, The Clearing. He is also known for roles in Supernatural, iZombie and Supergirl. He played the lead role in the real-life portrayal of Shi Ming (who suffered schizophrenia) in the award-winning feature film, The World is Bright. In 2021, Berlin won Best Australian Actor at the AFIN International Film Festival. Berlin has written 3 award-winning short films, one of which is She Made Me - A young songwriter struggles to take care of his schizophrenic mother and to be a shining example for his 8 year old sister.
Moya Lucy
Moya has been a lifelong contributor to and enjoyer of theatre and the arts.
She graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2021 with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Theatre Studies after completing a diploma in Arts Business Management from Ngee Ann Polytechnic and a holistic internship with the Singapore International Photography Festival in 2019.
Her professional experiences in design began in Polytechnic, where she designed public pop-up interactive museum and art exhibitions, as well as publicity materials, merchandise and decorations for her cohort’s public community arts festival, Verve.
More recently, Moya was the production assistant in Ormond College's original play "Cold Meat Party" (2020), and, for the University of Melbourne's Inter-Collegiate Activities Council, Head of Set Design and Construction for "Dogfight" (2021), and Head of Set Construction for "Firebringer" (2022).
Moya additionally holds a GCE ‘O’Level in Fine Art, two Set Design certifications from NIDA (Sydney), and is pursuing a diploma in Speech and Drama with Trinity College London.
Fun fact: At 15, Moya competed in a national modular lamp design competition and won first prize for a lamp that created unique patterns of light. She has therefore been greatly inspired and impassioned by the vision of Ruby Rees, when designing the set of "Bleached" – created to eclectically reflect, refract and complement the lighting by Oliver Ross.

Frankie's passion for theatre and storytelling has led him to a jack-of-all trades career in the arts. Originally a performer, Frankie trained at the Adelaide College of the Arts before moving to Melbourne. As he finds his place in the Melbourne art scene, Frankie has worked in venue management as well as stage management, performing and producing. Most recently Frankie worked as ASM for Melbourne Shakespeare Company's recent production of Hamlet.

Madeleine is a Naarm based actor. She graduated in 2018 with a dip. in Musical Theatre from The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London.
After returning to Aus, Madeleine was awarded best actress at Canberra Short Film Festival (2021) for her performance as Jacquie in ‘This River’ (dir. Naomi Fryer, AFTRS) which can be streamed on ABC iview.
She joined Wit Incorporated in 2020, running their kids drama program and as communications manager. She played Meg in Wit Incorporated’s May 2021 production of ‘Every Second’ (dir. Emma Drysdale) and Hen in ‘Bleached’ by Laura Collins (dir. Ruby Rees, 2023).
More recently, she played the titular role in the critically acclaimed ‘Flit’ (dir. Ruby Rees, 2023) at Theatre Works and can next be seen starring in ‘Hold Still’ by Emily Dynes, premiering at MQFF 2024.
Sonia Marcon
Sonia Marcon has always had an obsession for performing. She grew up in Perth and after realising her love for the stage from a young age she began her formal training with a four-year Theatre & Drama degree from Murdoch University. During this time, she was heavily involved in the Perth theatre scene as an actor, singer and dancer. She knew this was her calling when she found she could walk through the city and get recognised by strangers who had seen her in various productions including Beatrice in Shakespeare’s “Much Ado About Nothing”; a Spanish-dancing Death in Lorca’s “Bodas de Sangre (Blood Wedding”); Kate in Pinter’s “Old Times” and Eponine in “Les Misérables”.
Sonia was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis four years into her performing life but that did not slow her down. From then she starred as Julie in the Australian comedy “Cosi”, the monologue-heavy role of Chorus in Shakespeare’s “Henry V” plus leading roles in the Guild Equity Trust Award-nominated original thriller “Serpentine” and the Guild Equity Trust Award-winning original drama “Cry Havoc”. She didn’t even let her relocation from Perth to Melbourne get in the way of her performing career. In fact, this move was a highlight regarding her love of inclusive theatre where difference could be embraced with open arms.
Since the move Sonia feels that her obsession for performance has hit an all-time high. She starred as Sicinius in Heartstring’s acclaimed all-female production of Shakespeare’s “Coriolanus”, the hugely successful production of The Regina Monologues by 24 Carrot Productions as well as original theatre shows for La Mama and Owl & Cat Theatre. She has performed at the Malthouse Theatre, the Melba Spiegeltent and ACMI (Australian Centre of the Moving Image) and enjoyed performing in the Melbourne Fringe Festival, the ButohOUT Festival, Midsummer Festival and AustenCon. Her experience also spans to film, television and radio plays. On the latter, she provided voiceover for an animation produced by MS Australia that was viewed by more than 500,000 people in over thirty countries. Sonia is a proud performer with disability and is excited about where her years of experience and professional training will take her.

Aimee Marich is originally from outside Washington DC and has been living in Melbourne for about 3 years. She studied acting and dance at The University of the Arts in Philadelphia. Some acting credits include: Mr. Marmalade, Edison (Edinburgh Fringe), Ophelia Thinks Harder (Wit Inc), The Grant, and The Party Bus. Aimee also works as a Romana’s Pilates instructor in Hawthorne. She is thrilled to be back on stage with Wit Incorporated.

Chelsea is a set and costume designer who graduated from the Victorian College of the Arts in 2018 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Production) majoring in Design Realisation. During her time at VCA she was able to intern on ‘Priscilla: Queen of the Desert’ (Michael Cassel Group, 2018) and ‘Julius Caesar’ (Bell Shakespeare, 2018). Her recent credits include: Costume Designer for ‘August: Osage County’ (VCA, 2018), Technical Designer for ‘Peter Pan’ and ‘The Crucible’ (VCA, 2018), Assistant Costume Designer ‘Rock of Ages’ (WMTC, 2019), Costume Designer for ‘Yes, Prime Minister’ (Highway 1 Theatre, 2019), and Design Assistant/Assistant Stage Manager for ‘Sweet Phoebe’ (Red Stitch Actors Theatre, 2019).

Zadie Kennedy Mccracken is a Naarm-based writer, producer, and theatre-maker. Most of her work explores intimacy, fantasy, femininity, hysteria, and desire. Zadie has worked with Pony Cam, La Mama, Darebin Arts, Melbourne Fringe, Samara Hersch's Body of Knowledge, MPavilion, fortyfivedownstairs, Arts Centre Melbourne, and Union House Theatre. Most recently, Zadie produced The Angel with Blue Eyes (La Mama), CUT (fortyfivedownstairs), and award-winning Salarywoman (Melbourne Fringe), and worked as a directorial asset and production intern on Melbourne Theatre Company's production of SLAP. BANG. KISS. In August, she will direct her second play, Everyone Wants to be Emma, for La Mama.

Hailing from country Tasmania, Sophie McCrae is a Melbourne-based actor, writer and creative.
Sophie graduated from Actor's Centre Australia in 2015, holds a BA from the University of
Melbourne (French language) and is currently studying a MA in Shakespeare & Theatre at the
University of Birmingham Shakespeare Institute DL PT. In 2019 she was accepted to study at Shakespeare & Company in Massachusetts, USA and then toured Australia and New Zealand with theatre in education company, Poetry In Action.
Sophie has worked on numerous independent theatre productions and shorts in both Sydney and Melbourne, was the face of Reflex Paper for many years and voiced Sodastream for a period. With her own company, Sophie Rose Creative, Sophie recently staged her one woman show, A few things that happened on the way to now (dir. Gaden Sousa), to sell out shows at The Butterfly Club, and earlier this year, her award winning short, Homesick (dir. Gaden Sousa), was screened in the New York City Independent Film Festival.
A few things that happened on the way to now will be touring to Sydney Fringe Festival and the Melbourne Fringe Festival at the Queen Victoria Women’s Centre later this year.
Sophie is incredibly passionate about working to make the arts accessible to rural communities and helping artistic dreams be reframed as real, tangible possibilities and as such has established working relationships with rural theatre companies in Tasmania. Over the years, Sophie has worked with these companies as a dramaturg and guest director presenting boutique acting workshops. Most recently, Sophie coached a rural emerging playwright over email and zoom and finished her collaboration with the writer working as a guest director with the cast in the lead up to their season.

Richard is an actor, writer, comedian, voice over artist and part-time Hawaiian shirt enthusiast. A graduate of the American Musical and Dramatic Academy, Richard is originally from Chicago, Illinois (go Cubs!) where he performed with New Millennium Theatre and Theatre Wit. He spells theatre with an "re" because he's fancy.
Since moving to Australia he has been fortunate enough to appear in numerous wonderful productions. His most recent credits include Dogberry in Much Ado About Nothing (GJ Productions), Martini in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (Eltham Theatre), Friar Laurence in Romeo and Juliet (GJ Productions) and Peter Shaw in Silent Sky (WLT). ‘Every Second’ marks his first collaboration with Wit Incorporated, and he is very excited to be working on this excellent play with such a talented cast and crew.

Meg is an actor, writer and creator of theatre in Melbourne/Naarm. She has a background in both screen and stage and has had the good fortune of working both locally and internationally throughout the last 6 years. This year she has performed at both La Mama and Theatre Works, and is expanding her skillset into producing theatre.

Meg is an actor/writer who has been involved in the Melbourne theatre scene for years, both on and off stage. She holds a Bach of Commerce from Melbourne Uni, and has studied various forms of theatre in Australia, the US and the UK.
Her home life consists of maintaining the hobbies she accrued during lockdown (indoor gardening, guitar and rollerblading) and mediating the friendship between her cat and dog. She is a big fan of dark comedies, experimental work and melodrama, and is very excited to work alongside the Wit committee as Treasurer.

Josh Mitchell is a composer, sound designer, and performer. He composes original scores, creative sound design, and spatial audio mixes for theatre, dance and film as well as virtual and augmented reality applications. He has performed as both a musician and a dancer/actor with Blink Dance Theatre, Vital Organs Collective, Melbourne Dance Theatre, and The Lost Rung Physical Theatre. Recently, Josh has written music and designed sounds for the ABC, Phoria XR, Catalyst VR, Blink Dance Theatre, Melbourne Grammar school, Torquay Theatre company The International Paralympic Committee/Meta and the City of Sydney.

Seb is an actor and martial artist who originally hails from Scotland. He has eight years of experience with martial arts, including both grappling and striking disciplines. Jason is a multi-faceted theatre maker with a wide spectrum of experience, working on shows that ranged from international arts festivals to non-profit youth productions, often simultaneously. His portfolio benefits from his critical eye for semiotics, creative energy for problem-solving, and passion for collaborating with other artists.
His dynamism and drive, coupled with his background as a teacher, has brought him opportunities in multiple roles in theatre, from production and stage management, to lighting and set design, as well as mentoring and consulting.
He graduated from the Theatre Studies Programme at the National University of Singapore in 2006. After spending time in events management and education, Jason returned to theatre in 2013. He moved to Perth in 2017 where he studied Lighting at WAAPA, before moving to Melbourne in 2020.
Australian credits include Jiangshi and Cephalopod with Squid Vicious, Bad Baby Jean with The Last Great Hunt, Coming Out with Lucy Holz, and Lenore with The Knack Theatre.

Riley Nottingham is an actor, producer and songwriter perhaps best known for starring as Tom in four seasons of Toybox (Seven Network) and Dr Langdon Marsh in Metro Sexual (Nine Network, Crackle, OUTtv). Riley has created, written, produced and starred in multiple TV projects under the banner of his production company including: We are Darren and Riley (Screen QLD, ZPTV), Hitstroke FM (TVNZ, Virgin Australia) and Metro Sexual, as well as live theatrical productions of Ben Schiffer’s acclaimed His Ghostly Heart and the Australian professional premiere of Gilligan’s Island: The Musical - both of which garnered 5 star reviews. Riley portrays Dr Langdon Marsh in the upcoming Metro Sexual season 2 and is starring in a soon-to-be-announced horror film.
Jarman Oakley
Jarman graduated last year with a bachelor of science majoring in physics and nanotechnology, but decided to go give theatre tech a try instead. Dear Mama will be Jarman’s first time as the sound designer for a show, but has worked with Wit inc throughout the year with many other events such as The Scientwit’s and the Mid Summer Festival as a sound and lighting operator.
Jarman’s other credits include La Trobe University’s Student Theatre and Film Moat Festival, Glenelg Shire’s Hooked on Portland Festival and many more.

Henry O'Brien
Henry O’Brien is a young actor/artist who is passionate about the arts, and how they can spark change and create hope in the ever growing turbulence of the world around us.
A graduate of the Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School Theatre Arts program 2018, Henry has gone on to perform with The Melbourne Shakespeare Company in their rendition of one of the Bard’s earliest comedies ‘Love’ Labour’s Lost’, receiving critical praise for bringing "great presence and comic timing to the role of Costard" -The Dialogue.
Just recently Henry has performed with EbbFlow Theatre Co. in their production of Nick Enright’s hard hitting classic ‘Blackrock’, helping to bring this all too familiar story to life.
Henry is ecstatic to be a part of the team presenting this new development of Lansy Feng’s extraordinary piece, “How I Met My Dead Husband”.

Ellen O’Connor is an independent artist with a multidisciplinary practice incorporating writing, directing, producing and acting. Within their practice they are interested in carving out space for artists to make work that is essential to them, and for audiences to have access to fresh, new theatre. Throughout their career they have predominantly worked with new writing including comedy, drama and musicals. Ellen has a BA in English and Cultural Studies from the University of Western Australia, and studied the Meisner technique under Scott Williams with Impulse Company London. Lauren Patullo
Lauren has been playing piano since she was four years old. She started performing and playing in bands when she was five and has since continued to enjoy playing music in a variety of settings including supporting renowned acts such as Ziggy Marley and Spiderbait. She has also enjoyed picking up various instruments along the way. In 2010 she completed her Bachelor of Applied Music Performance at Box Hill TAFE (Jazz/Popular) on trumpet and went on to complete her Master of Teaching (Primary School and Early Childhood) at Deakin in 2013. Currently she enjoys instrumental teaching full-time as well as performing and songwriting with the fusion band Renelophus, who have recently released their first EP, “The Blue Dot”.

Sass is a Melbourne based Actor, Singer, Musician and Vocal Coach.
An accomplished multi-instrumentalist and trained classical and contemporary singer, she has worked as a Soloist, Session Musician, Composer, Voice Over Artist and actor for over 20 years.
After studying classical voice with Brian Hansford at The University of Melbourne, Sass spent many years teaching vocal technique and is a passionate advocate for vocal health. Performing recording and touring from a young age, Sass understands the demands placed on a performing artist and believes in cultivating a strong and healthy instrument that is geared to work with authenticity and flexibility.
On competition of the Full Time Program in 2017, Sass was handpicked by David Coury under his mentorship to join the faculty of Howard Fine Acting Studio Australia.
Jennifer Piper
Trained at WAAPA and UWA Jennifer is an actor, writer, designer and director. She is co-founder and Company Manager of Wit Incorporated theatre company. Her work gazes adoringly at feminism, sexuality, gender and neurodivergence, as they rummage around in their pockets looking for their shared identity.
JP loves taking characters from our theatrical canon, created by old white dudes for old white dudes and making them her own: including Doug (Cosi), Banquo (Macbeth), and Sherlock Holmes. In 2018, JP brought the house down as Tiggy, Teresa and Zoe in Bombshells, then terrified the lot as The Queen in Ophelia Thinks Harder.
Jennifer designs (set, lighting and graphic) for most of of Wit Incorporated’s productions, has performed in Ophelia Thinks Harder, Bombshells, Outside In, A Scandal in the Weimar, Macbeth, Couch Potato and Cosi, and directed Fairy Tale News and A Hero’s Guide to Saving the Planet.
Jennifer has performed for Melbourne Shakespeare Company, Key Conspirators and Sly Rat Theatre Co. and provides mentoring and support to Fringe artists programmed at Bluestone Church Arts Space. JP takes great joy both in writing new theatre and in working with other writers to develop and refine their own creations.
Anthony Pontonio
Anthony is a 23 year old performer who has trained in performance (acting and singing) for nearly a decade, and has had professional dance training for over 4 years. He has over 200 on stage performances under his belt and has been in productions of shows such as ‘Les Misérables’, ‘Wicked’, ‘Cats’, ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ and more. He has trained with with many teachers and coaches for voice, acting and dance including Michael Cormick, Cara Dinley, David Butler, Jacqui Green, Andrew Strano, James Simpson and more. He has also worked with Myles Tankle training in movement and stage combat. Anthony is a passionate Story Teller and is currently exploring many areas of the arts. From composing and writing original music, some of his work being featured in the indie game ‘Cotton Stuffed Nightmares’, to performing in live theatre. He is also in the process of creating and writing a novel. « I believe that music and art and our stories can help us to heal the world. We can connect with each other on such a deep level with art and I look forward to stepping into that role and responsibility. Since graduating she has had the pleasure of working with Norbury Productions on an original Australian play After Oscar (Constance Wilde), and was on the creative team of Fruitcup, another new work which recently premiered at the new Motley Bauhouse.
Georgia is a qualified Yoga and meditation teacher and aspires to create courses in yogic studies for performing artists to transmute nerves, welcome openness, and step into their personal power.

Ruby is a female-identifying multi-disciplinary artist based between sydney &melbourne. she undertook intensive acting, playwrighting and directing training at the world-renowned herbert berghof studio in new york city. she earned her professional writing and editing degree at rmit university, melbourne. ruby was the youngest recipient of the national st martin’s playwriting award in 2010 for her first play serpents. she completed a residency at the manhattan repertory theatre company in 2016. she was commissioned by the company to write and direct an original work for their 10th anniversary season. upon her return to australia, ruby directed a series of plays for independent melbourne companies including simon stephens’ punk rock at renowned melbourne theatre fortyfivedownstairs, which saw a sold-out season and rave reviews. while at nida, ruby expanded her practice to include theatre-making, devising, and the adaptation of new works. ruby is currently in development with her debut feature film, that will be the first to come out of australia employing only female- identifying cast, crew and creatives.

Ren Ruidi 仁 瑞娣 is honoured to direct this premiere production bringing Stan Lai’s I Me She Him to life at a time when global geopolitical tensions are increasing. With an extensive background in theatre, Ren began as an opera singer training at The Australian National University before embarking on a global journey as a multi-hyphenate creative and now spends her time between the UK and Australia. Some of her previous roles as an actress include Jennifer in The Code (ABC), Selina Lin in Deadly Women (Beyond Int.), and Queen Margaret in web-series Walking Shadows where she received critical acclaim for her performance winning Best Actress at the British Web Awards. This is Ren’s Directorial debut and she would like to express her heartfelt appreciation to the talented cast, crew and Wit for their dedication and hard work in making this production a reality. She also thanks the audience for their support of independent live theatre and the work of Asian artists. Ren is a proud native level speaker of the Shanghainese-Dialect and advocates for dialect preservation within Shanghai’s diverse cultural heritage.

Jacinta Scadden (she/they) completed a Bachelor of Performing & Screen Arts in 2012 and Master of Screenwriting in 2019. Lucy Seale is a theatre-maker and performer who splits her time between directing, playwriting, producing, production management, acting, comedy and circus. For the past few years Lucy has been honing her directing skills through independent theatre company, Shakespearean Jeans, of which she is Co-Artistic Director. Lucy is a proud member of Women’s Circus where she enjoys training in aerials, especially trapeze.
As a recent graduate of the University of Melbourne, Lucy has spent the last few years heavily involved in student theatre. In 2017 Lucy was the recipient of a directing mentorship from Petra Kalive (Associate Director MTC). In 2018 she participated in the Union House Theatre Writer-in-Residence Program, through which she developed her first full-length play, Her Hour Upon The Stage, mentored by playwright Marie Lourey. In 2019 Lucy directed the MUDCRABS’ (Melbourne University Comedy Revue Board) weekly show Rowdy Laughter, for which she wrote and performed across three years.
Lucy was recently honoured to receive the Robert McDonald Memorial Award through Union House Theatre, which granted her a professional development attachment with MTC. In 2020, she had the pleasure of working as Assistant Director for Complete Works Theatre Company. She is delighted to be joining wit incorporated as they take on this darkly humorous Australian play.

Silvia Shao
Silvia Shao is intrigued by conceptual and abstract art works and enjoys exercising her creativity. She completed a Master of Design for Performance at VCA in 2022. In the same year, she made her design debut with set and costumes for Caught (Red Stitch Actor’s Theatre). Although specifically trained as a set and costume designer, she loves working closely with lighting and sound. During her time at VCA, she developed interests in architecture, graphic design, and contemporary dance. She believes there is no boundary to what she can do, either as a 'designer' or as a 'human', an ideology carrier.

Riley Tapp
Riley is a graduate of the production design course from The Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts. Upon completion of the course, he was proudly a joint recipient of the 2019 David Hough Award for Outstanding Achievement in Design.
Upon graduation, Riley was thrilled to return to his high school to design the sets for Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, The Middle-Class Aristocrat, and The 39 Steps (Shore School). In 2020 Riley also completed designs for The Measure of a Moment (La Mama) and Strictly Ballroom the Musical (Carey Grammar). Both shows have been rescheduled for 2021.
In late 2020, Riley was lucky enough to travel to Perth to work as the production designer for The Boy From Oz at the Crown Theatre (dir. Drew Anthony, Platinum Entertainment). During his time in Perth, he also worked as the scenic artist for We Will Rock You at the Crown Theatre (Platinum Entertainment), and as the design assistant for The Little Mermaid (Freeze Frame Opera) which was presented as a part of Perth Festival.
Whilst at WAAPA Riley designed the sets for Sweet Charity (dir. Shaun Rennie), and Stuff Happens. He designed costumes for Arabian Nights (dir. Adam Mitchell) and When the Rain Stops Falling. Prior to graduating, Riley was delighted to assist on Kiss of the Spiderwoman (MTC) as part of his industry secondment.

Ashey Tardy
Ashley has her degree in Creative Media and Graphic Design from SAE Creative Media Institute here in Melbourne. Since graduating 9 years ago she has gone on to work in educational publishing, designing book covers as Senior Designer with Oxford University Press. She also established Bitten By Productions in 2013, with her co-founders, Gabriel Bergmoser and Justin Anderson, and has since gone on to direct Below Babylon, The Lucas Conundrum, The Critic, Dracula; Last Voyage of the Demeter, The Commune, Dead Air and The Lucas Betrayal for the company. She also works as Bitten By's in-house graphic designer, and you can check out her work at www.bittenbyproductions.com. Ashley has spread her love of theatre and design across Melbourne, designing posters and promo-packs for various other production companies all over town and always enjoys working with the amazing team at Wit Incorporated.

Phoebe Anne Taylor
Phoebe Anne Taylor is a Melbourne-based actor, writer and photographer. She has a Bachelor Degree in Arts with first class Honours (Creative Writing and Performance Studies) from both the University of Melbourne and Monash University, and completed the inaugural Full Time tuition at Howard Fine Acting Studio Australia in 2012. She was a founding member and founding co-artistic director of Melbourne's theatre collective North of Eight. She is a producer for production company Incognita Enterprises, having also served as co-producer for their award winning and internationally acclaimed third season of Shakespeare Republic, of which she is also a returning ensemble member. Phoebe became an alumni of the Arteles Creative Centre in Finland, having completed the Silence, Awareness, Existence residency in 2019. She was also a runner up for the Alpine Fellowship Theatre Writing Prize in 2020. Phoebe has performed extensively in Melbourne, particularly in fringe and site-specific theatre experiences, but perhaps was most honoured to be supported by La Mama Theatre for her work the art of f**king in 2014. For more than a decade, Phoebe has focused on specialising in vocal technique and has worked intensely on developing her vocal and performance skills with mentor Stephen Costan. She is also a trained singer in both classic and contemporary styles.

His diverse set of skills and devotion to the arts is shown in both his performances and creations. Creatrix Tiara (pronouns: 'Tiara' or they/them) gets up to shenanigans. Tiara has produced, performed, written, and created work that explores liminality, community, and identity - from a queer feminist stage magic and storytelling show to a game about the tediousness of immigration and much more. Jamie Turner
Jamie is an actor, technician, and designer. Having trained at Curtin University in Perth and more recently at Melbourne Polytechnic. Jamie has been involved in the technical side of theatrical and event lighting since 2014.
Beginning with small independent works featuring in Perth Fringe World and The Fremantle Arts Festival he has been a part of all aspects of lighting from designing to installing and operating.
Since moving to Melbourne in 2016 he has taken time to develop as an overall technician. Graduating from Melbourne Polytechnic’s Live Production course in late 2018 he has seen much growth in the last twelve months, taking opportunities to design shows for The International Comedy Festival, Melbourne Fringe, Melbourne International Arts Festival, and most recently returning from a tour around Australia & New Zealand with A Taste Of Ireland.

He's one half of GJ Productions, a skilled lighting designer and technician, an increasingly visible director and a genuinely lovely human.
Genevieve
Genevieve is a theatre practitioner who uses Bouffon, Drag and physical comedy to examine the significance of social masks within theatrical frameworks. Her complex narratives enable audiences to connect/relate universally to colloquial stories. She is a Lecoq trained performer and teacher with extensive training in Commedia dell’Arte, who has toured to many a Fringe and Arts Festivals around Australia, and worked with theatre companies across Australia, Italy and Belgium.

Angel Xiao
Angel Xiao graduated from the Monash College and received her acting training at 16th Street Actors’ Studio. With experience in English and Mandarin productions, she has worked with bilingual theatre companies including Do Theatre and One Tree Theatre. Angel has performed in various contemporary award-winning productions, including The Smile Off Your Face and A Game of You by Ontroerend Goed, as well as traditional theatre roles, such as Lin Shuyan in New Youth, Nell in Endgame, and Jess in A Long Way Down. She has also taken on the lead roles in many award-winning short films, including Swallow and Magpie. She is also a musician, skilled in the piano, Chinese lute, guitar, and percussion. Dedicated to her craft, Angel continues to explore new horizons in the world of acting.
William Xu
Professionally trained, Melbourne based bilingual actor: William Xu was a graduate from 16th Street Actor’s Studio in 2023, mentored by award winning director: Iain Sinclair and AACTA best actress: Kim Krejus, alongside with Hollywood acting coach: Miranda Harcourt. He began his craft in NIDA Actor’s Studio 2022 while working with top Chinese actor/directors in Melbourne. William’s experience in acting crosses all field such as Theatre, Commercial and Film including: Love & Information by Caryl Churchill, various in-depth scene work at 16th Street comprising: Mojo, This is our Youth, and Constellations. More critically, William is known for his work in Chinese theatres: with his recent performance as ZhouChong 周冲 in one of the most classical Chinese play: The Thunderstorm 雷雨. Emperor WenWu 玟武帝 on the stage of Culture’s of China Water Cube Award Ceremony, as well as Grand Secretory QinXiao 秦啸 in the play: 浮生若梦 of an immersive theatre in Melbourne.
As a fluent Mandarin and English speaking actor, William’s experience in acting is based among the east and the west. Making his craft truely unique in the industry.
Yiwei Yu
Yiwei is a multidisciplinary creative, working at the intersection of fashion design, theatre production, and costume design. She graduated with a Master of Fashion Design from RMIT University in 2023. Although specifically trained as a fashion designer, she has a strong passion for theatre and film production. Yiwei's fashion work focuses on challenging traditional notions of garment forms and their relationship with body, often blending sculptural silhouettes with classic womenswear archetypes. She believes clothing is a medium to observe the way people connect and reflect their individual environments. This philosophy extends into the realms of theatre and film, where she brings a unique vision to costume and production design. With her fashion background, she specialised in creating dramatic, exaggerated and nostalgic costume and production designs that evoke a sense of fantasy.
Wilson Yeung Chun Wai
Wilson Yeung Chun Wai is an artist-curator, researcher, and creative producer. Wilson serves as the founder and artistic director of the Curatorial Ensemble, formerly known as the Curatorial Collective. Simultaneously, he is pursuing his PhD research within the School of Architecture and Urban Design, while also holding membership in the Contemporary Art, Society, and Transformation (CAST) Research Group at RMIT University. Wilson is also a collaborator of Independent Curators International (ICI) New York and an alumnus of Shanghai Curator Lab (SCL) at Shanghai Academy of Fine Arts, Shanghai University. Wilson received his artistic training at the University of Sydney Department of Art History and RMIT School of Art. In 2020, Wilson was selected by Sydney’s 4A Centre for Contemporary Asian Art and London’s International Curators Forum (ICF) to participate in the Curators’ Intensive.
Wilson’s special interest lies in collective curatorial practices and Asian contemporary art. His PhD practice research focuses on exploring the role of curators and curatorial practices to develop collective curatorial strategies and frameworks. This practice-based research articulates curatorial practice that interrogates the role of a curator in facilitating cross-cultural collaborations as a ‘cultural collaborator’. The research adopts the contemporary performance method of the collective creation/devised theatre to devise and demonstrate how to present models of curating contemporary visual art to the public in an alternative way.
Wilson’s curatorial projects have been presented nationally and internationally: Shenzhen Bi-city Biennale of Urbanism/Architecture, Pingyao International Photography Festival, Jogja Biennale (Indonesia), Melbourne Central, Ballarat International Foto Biennale, Melbourne Fringe Festival, Diversity Arts Australia, RMIT University, The University of Sydney, Shanghai University, Fine Art Asia, International Multidisciplinary Printmaking Conference (IMPACT), AAANZ Conference, etc.

Jessica is a theatre lover from the UK now residing in Seddon. Jessica leads a busy life working as a project manager for a global Fintech business, as well as walking her cavoodle Barney, exploring the Western Suburbs and volunteering for Wit Incorporated with their marketing and social media.

Martin is Wit’s technical guru and has been lending his expertise and outside eye to productions for the last two years. When not rigging lights or behind the AV desk, you can find him spinning tunes at clubs across Melbourne or recording sets at home.
