Wit Incorporated’s Past Works
Wit Inc has produced 17 staged shows and worked with more than 150 artists since 2014. From 2019, Wit Inc started to produce shows in diverse languages, particularly in Mandarin/Chinese; such as our very first production at the Bowery Theatre, the well-reviewed cabaret- How I Met My Dead Husband 我和老公的前世今生 (2019) which has toured to 4 venues across Melbourne. The next year in 2020 during lockdown, we produced the award-winning short film- Of Course I Speak French 誰不會說法文 which was also selected in numerous international film festivals. And the most recent production at the Bowery theatre- Dear Mama, There’s Something Maybe I Should Tell You…親愛的媽媽,有些事我也許應該要告訴你… (2020) which was toured to 3 different venues across Melbourne. The productions were well-received with fantastic feedback from audience from diverse backgrounds especially the Chinese Speaking Community.

Sundays with Wit
Sundays with Wit is an artists development workshop program we run to support artists to build creative skill through experimentation, collaboration and artistic discourse. The workshop has been running since 2015 including various skill sets such as Alexander Technique, Voice and body, Building an Inclusive Arts Practice, Stage combat, physical Theatre, Grant Writing and more. We have worked with more than 100 artists through the program. Sundays with Wit is an accessible and inclusive space for established practitioners, emerging artists and curious non-professional creatives alike.
