A Hero's Guide to Saving the Planet

  • Bluestone Church Arts Space 8A Hyde Street Footscray Australia (map)

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. Be Super!

#WitHero

An environmental superheroes adventure for anyone who loves to laugh. This funny, silly play reminds us of the important ways we can save the planet, by reducing what we use and recycling everything we can.

As Captain Eco and her sidekick The Green Defender race against time to discover who has been covering the streets of Footscray with litter, super-villain The Waster continues her plot to cover the world with trash.

With the help of the superheroes and their guide book, audiences learn about recycling, reusing, reducing and what happens (or doesn’t happen) to plastic after we’ve finished with it.

Be ready for shiny capes, cheesy catchphrases and groan-worthy jokes.

Suitable for all ages!

10am and 1pm, Wednesday to Saturday
1pm Sunday

Tickets $25 (all tickets at concession prices)

Family tickets $70 (up to 4 people)

For group or family bookings, email hello@witinc.com.au

Sensitive Performance

For children with autism, anxiety, ADHD and other special needs.

On Wednesday 12 July at 10am, we're offering a very special sensitive performance of A Hero's Guide to Saving the Planet.

  • We're keeping the house lights on

  • We're lowering the sound throughout the show

  • We'll introduce the characters and costumes before the show begins, so there'll be no scary surprises

  • We'll email a social story to all ticket buyers, so you know just what to expect

  • You're welcome to move around the audience area and front of house, and make noise during the show

  • You're welcome to wear your earmuffs (in fact, you're welcome to wear anything you like!)

Just book your tickets as normal for the show at 10am, Wednesday 12 July and we'll take care of the rest.

Remember, for a family ticket (up to 4 people) for only $70, just email us at hello@witinc.com.au
